Why are these posts
successful?
The Blackberry tweet informing consumers that the Priv
smartphone is officially available on Verizon in the U.S. was a successful post
because Verizon is the largest mobile carrier in the U.S. and customers have
been waiting since November 2015 for BlackBerry’s first Android powered
smartphone to become available so there was pent up interest.
The LG tweet was successful because it was interactive; the
message was conveyed in a short 40 second comedic video. Consumers tend to be more responsive to
interactive media so the video informing consumers of LG’s new unique removable
battery system peaked consumer’s interest.
